Herbal Walks - Friday 2nd September 09.00 – 10:30 & 10:30 - 12.00
Vivienne Campbell BSc (Hons) is a medical herbalist. She has a clinic in Ireland and teaches classes on herbal medicine, wild food foraging and natural cosmetic-making. She is passionate about re-engaging people with the edible and medicinal plants that grow around them so that they can use them safely and effectively at home. She is often contacted by the media to comment on issues concerning herbal medicine. She presented a prime-time television series with the celebrity chef Richard Corrigan and has given many high profile lectures and talks at conferences and public health events, including a keynote lecture at Botanica 2012. She teaches people how to forage for and use wild foods and medicinal herbs world-wide via her online course. She is a dedicated environmentalist and works closely with the Irish Seed Savers Association, a certified-organic garden and seed bank. Vivienne will be leading our herb walks at botanica2016 on Friday 2nd September.
Places on these walks are limited to Botanica participants only and places will be awarded on a first-come-first-served arrangement - with a maximum of 25 persons per walk. The meeting place is in front of the Botanica entrance to the Jubilee building.
